Ear Acupressure

Ear Point Descriptions to go with my ear acupressure seed kits.

(see diagram of the anatomy of the external ear below)

Heart Point
Located directly in the center of the cavum concha (the lower, deeper bowl of the ear).

Kidney Point
Found in the cymba concha (the upper part of the ear bowl), center and slightly tucked under the cartilage of the inferior crus.

Large Intestine Point
Found in the cymba concha (the upper part of the ear bowl), above the crus of helix, medial and anterior to where the helix turns into the helix crux.

Liver Point
Found in the cymba concha. If you follow the crus of helix to the end (posterior), the point would be at the end, just above.

Lung Point
Located in the cavum concha, in the upper and lower portion of the ear bowl, directly above or below the heart point in the center (Lung 1, upper, and Lung 2, lower, are interchangeable).

Occiput Point
Found on the upper the earlobe, posterior and distal from the antitragus.

Shen Men (Spirit Gate) Point
Located in the triangular fossa, in the upper posterior section.

Small Intestine Point
Located in the cymba concha, posterior to the large intestine point, just above the crus of helix.

Spleen Point
Found at the end of the posterior crus of helix, just below the liver point on the cavum concha side.

Stomach Point
Located at the junction of the posterior end of the crus of helix, the concha and the cymba concha.

Subcortex Point
Found on the inner wall of the antitragus.

Sympathetic Point
Located on the ridge of the forward helix, in line with where the medial side of the inferior crus ends.
